Peter PICC Central Catheter Line Insertion Simulator

The only teaching model which allows the practice of placing peripherally inserted central catheter lines (PICC Lines).

Model features anatomically correct cephalic, basilic, median basilic, jugular, subclavian, and superior vena cava. Model also features movable chin that simulates occlusion of the jugular in order to prevent the PICC line from taking this route.

Standard I.V. catheter placement is also possible with Peter PICC.

Measure proper catheter length using palpable ribs or measure catheter length outside the body. Confirm proper placement by viewing distal tip of catheter in the viewable superior vena cava. Identifying underlying veins below replacement skin.
