Most current Tape (Version 2007B). Complies with the Joint Commission of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) National Patient Safety Goal 3B, the infusion information has been removed from the Broselow Tape.

A reference at each color bar on the tape informs you of equipment sizes to perform emergency resuscitation on the child. A reference at each weight zone on the tape shows pre-calculated medication dosages. Designated resuscitation equipment is contained in corresponding, color coded equipment pouches (not included). 5 per package.

The Resuscitation/Infusion Guide is designed to provide you a quick reference to common resuscitation I.V. push drugs and vasoactive infusion drugs. The guide is sectioned off in colors that correspond with the Broselow™ Tape. The guide is also a solution for those who are trying to address the JCAHO's mandate to use standard concentration drugs for infusions and eliminate the use of "Rule of 6" methods of calculating infusions. The front section provides precalculated milliliter amounts of the most common I.V. push drugs for resuscitation. The back section provides infusion rates based on standard concentrations of common vasoactive medications. This guide acts to further enhance the Broselow Tape. The Broselow Pediatric Emergency System helps to reduce the cognitive overload sometimes associated with pediatric resuscitations, as well as reduces the potential for medication mistakes due to calculation errors.

Now the Broselow™ Pediatric Resuscitation System has available a measuring tape used for assessing pediatric patients who require drug treatment for chemical warfare. Like the regular Broselow™ Tape, you just measure the child with the Tape. This gives you the pre-calculated drug dosages of common chemical warfare antidotes (including auto-injectors). In addition, the color zones match up with the Broselow Pediatric Resuscitation System so that you can easily access the appropriately sized equipment and supplies.

Each Flying Carpet contains the seven Color Packs, prefilled with twenty-eight appropriately sized Procedural Modules, and one Broselow Measuring Tape. *Laryngoscope Handles sold separately.
